Workshop: How to Manage Your Nonprofit Career
November 19 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
How to Manage Your Nonprofit Career
Managing a career in the nonprofit sector is different than in government or for-profit organizations. Nonprofits are typically smaller and may not have clear career ladders. How do you know when it’s time to change organizations, ask for a promotion, or go back to school?
In this workshop, nonprofit management faculty from the University of Florida will offer concrete advice to help you make career moves that will pay dividends. And, if it’s time for more education, UF can help. The Family, Youth and Community Sciences department has both a Master’s degree and a graduate certificate program in nonprofit management. We offer both online and on-campus options, and our nonprofit faculty have decades of experience in the field.
