We are so excited to announce that the Child Advocacy Center, along with Ronald McDonald House and March of Dimes will benefit from the proceeds of the Grand Opening Preview! All movies, popcorn and sodas are $3 only! It’s not only an amazing deal, but will benefit such amazing causes. Come join us and let your friends know about it!

Join the Child Advocacy Center for Alachua County Child Abuse Prevention Task Force’s 14th Annual Celebrate the Child event at Depot Park. This event recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month and brings nonprofits, child serving agencies from around Gainesville to provide information and resources to the community. The event will also feature free entertainment, games, music, food, face painting and fun!

Climb for Cancer

“6th Annual Hogtown 5K Beer Run”

When: Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:00 am

Where: Haile Plantation

It’s the 6th Annual Hogtown 5K Beer Run benefitting Climb for Cancer at beautiful Haile Plantation! Enjoy this unique cross-country run on Saturday, April 21st, at 9:00 am, as hundreds of runners kick off the Hogtown Craft Beer Festival with this exciting race which winds park trails and loops through Haile Plantation.  Adult runners can enjoy delicious craft beer from Swamp Head Brewery at the finish line, along with pizza by Fresco Pizza and Pasta, root beer for the kids, and music and entertainment. There’s something for everyone. All proceeds benefit the Climb for Cancer Foundation supporting cancer patients and their families at UF Health.

Girls Place

“Hats, Hearts & Handbags”

When: Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 am

Where: University Hilton

The luncheon program celebrates the mission of Girls Place and generates the financial resources needed to provide girls with critical programming, while bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun and friendship.

Each year, hundreds of women support Girls Place at the Annual Hats, Hearts, and Handbags luncheon. Reserve a table and decorate it with your friends to compete for awards, wear your best hat and grab your most fashionable handbag to support the girls of Girls Place.  The day starts with Mimosas at 10:00am and is followed by our key note speaker!
