Women's Giving Circle

Working together for
our Future

For more than 20 years, the Women’s Giving Circle has gathered community-minded women to make a real difference. The idea is simple and the impact is profound:  giving together, we can do more. Together, more than 400 women have invested more than $2.2 million in improving the lives of local women and girls. Together, we’ve helped to house homeless families, launch an OB/GYN mobile clinic, and ease food insecurity for female-headed households. Together, we’ve provided support to older women re-entering the workforce, incarcerated women in trauma recovery, and teen girls looking for mentors.

Women’s Giving Circle donors contribute $1,000 per year ($500 for those under age 40), and 100% of donations go back into the community through grant cycles each spring. Donors may give all at once or in installments, through cash, stock, Donor Advised Fund, or IRA distribution. Donors have the option – but no obligation – to attend events and serve on grants committees. The needs in our community can feel overwhelming, but the solution lies in acting together.
